Who Is This Training For?
Our training is open to anyone who is serious about detailing — novices who want to learn properly from scratch, enthusiasts who want professional-standard skills, and working detailers who want to add paint correction and ceramic coating to their service list. We do not run group courses; every student gets the full attention of the instructor for the entire course.
Why Train at Detailing Scotland?
You will learn from someone with 24 years at the bench, not a sales trainer reading from a manual. Our studio is equipped with professional-grade machines, lighting, and a full product range including FEYNLAB professional coatings. Every technique we teach is what we use on paying client vehicles every day. There is no better environment to learn real-world detailing in Scotland.
Frequently Asked Questions — Detailing Training Scotland
Do I need any experience to attend?
No. Courses are designed to take you from wherever you are starting — complete beginner, enthusiast, or working detailer. The pace and content are tailored to you on day one.
Is accommodation available nearby?
Dunshalt and the surrounding Howe of Fife area has B&Bs and self-catering accommodation available. We are also within easy reach of Cupar, Glenrothes, and St Andrews for a wider range of options.
What do I take away at the end?
A certificate of completion, the skills to carry out professional-standard detailing, and — if you choose — the contacts and business guidance to start or expand a detailing business. Previous students have gone on to run successful detailing operations across Scotland and the UK.
How far in advance should I book?
We operate with a limited number of training slots due to the 1-to-1 format. We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance to secure your preferred dates. A part payment of £100–£195 holds your slot.
